Our Vision + Mission
Our Vision:
Saving lives through cancer education and early detection.
Our Mission:
Provide cancer education, access to lifesaving screenings and to secure treatment resources for the uninsured and underinsured in Arizona.
The Desert Cancer Foundation of Arizona is a non-profit, 501(C)3 organization dedicated to serving underinsured and uninsured members of our community who are in need of life saving cancer screenings, care and treatment.
The Foundation is a grass-roots, all volunteer organization whose object is to bring together coalitions of corporations, community and service organizations and private citizens in providing resources for cancer screening, diagnostic and treatment options for our medically underserved population. Our board strives to maintain the highest degree of accountability, ethics and professionalism in our work.
Critical care issues in our communities and state are identified and addressed by partnering with health care institutions, other non-profit organizations, physicians and individuals to create a cancer-care network and referral system.
