Mammogram Screening

San Marcos Resource Center -- September 22, 2007

Funded by our Komen Grant and done in partnership with Catholic Healthcare West - Chandler Regional Medical Center, Mercy Gilbert Medical Center and their Cancer Center.

Our first of seven community-based mammography clinics was a great success this past Saturday. Thanks to the tremendous leadership, commitment and passion of the Community Integration staff and our partners, the first clinic served 41 women. The women received breast exams, mammograms, and instruction on self breast exam. The volunteers, staff, and community partners worked together to ensure each client received dignified and compassionate care.

Special recognition goes to Lydia Orozco who demonstrated great organization and leadership.
